"I've always had dogs growing up. They've always had a special place in my heart for as long as I can remember. For the past 15 years I've devoted my time working with them. I've worked at a few different doggy daycares, boarding kennels and as a groomer. I'm a certified CGC evaluator and received my certificate from the Animal Behavior College. For the past 3 years I've taught basic obedience & reactive training, and nosework classes. I'm so excited to be a part of the You Lucky Doggy team!"

"I've always had an enormous passion for animals and the great outdoors! I'm a huge nature nerd, so I'm always looking out for different plants and critters on my walks and hikes. I've had dogs and cats (and fish) my entire life, and I seriously cannot imagine a life without them. My animals are always a top priority for me. A family is not complete without a furry friend! I strive to treat anyone's animal as if they were my own, because our furry friends well-being is the most important! I'm so happy to be a part of the You Lucky Doggy team!! Everyone here is super nice, and has such a respect and love for animals; I know the team wants nothing but the best for them! It never fails to brighten my day seeing all the happy dogs! I'm a big picture person, so taking their pictures is definitely one of my favorite parts of the job. I know how much it means to have good pictures of your furry friends! It's so nice to have quality time with the dogs, whether it is a walk through the neighborhood or yard playtime. Their enrichment is super important, so being a part of that feels amazing!"

"Hi there! I’m a passionate dog and cat lover who can’t wait to spend time with your furry friends. Every pet I come in contact with puts an instant smile on my face and truly makes my day. There’s nothing quite like the joy of watching them grow and thrive! I also volunteer at a local cat shelter, where I enjoy caring for them and making sure they know I’m a safe space for them. I’m excited to bring my enthusiasm for animals to my new role and create wonderful memories with each dog I meet!

"I have always loved dogs.  When I was seven years old my parents gifted me my first dog and I was hooked. She was my companion from childhood to adulthood. That is when I realized dogs are more than just a pet, they are an important part of the family. I have had many dogs throughout my life. They give us unconditional love. Dogs are by our sides through good times and hard times. My friends and family know how passionate I am about dogs so when they need a pet sitter while they are away on vacation I happily volunteer. I also love being outside walking and hiking no matter the season. Therefore,  when I recently retired from a long career in insurance it made perfect sense to become a dog walker/pet sitter. I met Sarah and was immediately impressed with You Lucky Doggy. Each and every co-worker is kind and genuinely loves dogs. It is such a satisfying feeling knowing you are taking such good care of each dog and what it means to the owners of these wonderful pets. I am the lucky one now." 

"Animals ever since I was little have held a special place in my heart, I love them all. In 2021 I started helping others with their fur babies. It’s the most rewarding job I feel. I love seeing the excitement on their faces when they know it’s time to go out. The best feeling is earning the trust with ones who are unsure at first as they don’t just give trust to anyone. I have done research learning things to look out for, such as plants that are toxic to dogs and how to tell what a dog may be feeling. I’m excited to join this wonderful team and can’t wait to make some new doggy friends!"

"I’ve always had a deep love for all animals, but dogs are the closest to my heart. I grew up with dogs and as an adult have volunteered time at many shelters, including the ASPCA in NYC. I’m so excited to be a part of the You Lucky Doggy team, taking a much needed break from the corporate world. Unfortunately we have a no-pet home (allergies), so I’m thrilled to live vicariously through our clients and spend time with their fur babies. Nothing compares to seeing those happy faces when you walk in the door! I treat each one as if they were my own. I feel honored to be trusted into the homes and lives of our clients, and to be able to help them and their sweet furry family members. Every week I look forward to getting those steps in with my furry friends at my side!"

"I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve volunteered with animals at Baypath Humane Society in Hopkinton, MA and PAWS in Chicago, where I worked closely with dogs and cats of all personalities. I’m also a proud dog parent to Raven, who has only deepened my understanding of a dog’s daily needs, routines, and care. I treat every pet as if they were my own and look forward to giving your dog safe, loving, and reliable walks."

"I’ve had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a family that bred fox red and black Labrador Retrievers, and with my step-dad working as a hunting dog trainer, I developed an early appreciation for canine behavior and care.

Over the years, I’ve worked and volunteered with dog rescues, boarding kennels, and doggy daycare facilities, gaining hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I’ve even had the opportunity to work with a variety of other animals, including exotic species. I also hold a certificate in animal nutrition, which has given me additional knowledge about supporting pets’ health and well-being through proper diet.

When I’m not working, I’m usually spending time with my two dogs Kona, my black Lab, and Roman, my American Bully. I’m excited to be part of the You Lucky Doggy team and can’t wait to meet all the wonderful dogs (and their humans!)."

"Animals have played a huge role in every aspect of my life! I grew up surrounded by dogs, lots of cats, a few birds, guinea pigs, etc., and have always felt a deep connection to caring for animals around me. 

One of my favorite memories is from when I was 10 years old, sitting outside after a snowstorm with my dog, Alex. We sat there together watching fluffy snowflakes silently fall from the sky. It was a magical moment that I have always cherished. 

Making new furry friends is one of my favorite things to do, and as a portrait photographer, most of the animals that I meet end up getting top-notch photos! I can't wait to meet your pets! "

"I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember. Over the past 36 years, I’ve had the joy of sharing my life with five dogs, and each one has taught me just how unique every dog truly is. They all have their own personalities, quirks, and special ways of communicating what they need. In other words, I speak dog! 

After many years of caring for my own dogs, I’m excited to now spend my days caring for other people’s four-legged family members. I love getting to know each dog, learning what makes them special, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while they’re in my care.

When I’m not caring for dogs, I love spending time with my own pup, Shay, a Mini Australian Shepherd, along with my family and friends. Earlier in my life, I was involved in music and even wrote children’s books!

I’m so excited to be part of the You Lucky Doggy team and can’t wait to meet all of the wonderful pets and their families. I look forward to getting to know each of them and giving them the same love and care I give my own."

Meet Milli! Milli is Sarah’s beloved pittie and the original You Lucky Doggy sidekick. Sarah rescued Milli back in 2014, and from day one, she’s been a huge part of the journey behind the scenes. Milli supports our team in the best way she knows how, spreading smiles, offering cuddles, and reminding us all to slow down and enjoy the little things (especially belly rubs). She’s a proud rescue, a loyal best friend, and a constant reminder of why we do what we do: to love and care for every pet like family. When she’s not supervising operations, you can find Milli lounging, soaking up attention, and being the sweetest support pup around.
