We require a meet and greet in your home before services may begin. At this time you can show us where your dog's leash, food, and treats are kept. We will also go over your dog's routine, go through our payment and cancellation policies. We will also go over any questions you may have on how to use our app. All meet and greets are up to 25 minutes.
Payments are due every Friday before the end of the day.
Clients who are going on vacation are required to pay in full on the day of booking. If invoices are not paid before Sunday at noon you will be charged a $10 late fee.
All scheduled visits must be cancelled within 48 hours. Clients will be charged for their scheduled visit if 48 hours notice isn't given.
We understand that emergencies happen or people get sick so in this case we try to be as flexible with our cancellation policy as possible.
*If school is cancelled due to extreme weather conditions our cancellation policy will be waived.
We highly recommend our clients use either a door/ garage code or lock box to gain access to your home. Juggling keys is tricky and we want ensure the continued safety of your home and be able to provide you service on short notice or in case of emergency. Please check out the lock box below that we recommend.
Clients are responsible for their own snow removal, You Lucky Doggy does not provide snow removal services. You Lucky Doggy charges 1.5X regular rate if driveway or pathway have 5 inches or more of snow at time of visit. In the event the snow plow doesn’t clear in time the client can either change time of service or cancel service.
Your pet's safety is our main concern as well as the safety of your home. This is why we do not permit other people in your home while under our care while you're on vacation. We will not be held responsible for accidents/ issues with your pets or home when someone who isn't on the You Lucky Doggy team is involved. Our insurance will not cover both parties.
All clients that are away for 24 hours or more are required to book at least three "Vacation Care" visits for their dogs, four "Vacation Care" visits if your dog is in a crate. "Cat Visit" clients are required to book at least one visit daily. This ensures the safety of your pets.
All visits will be within a 2-3 hour window of the agreed arrival time.
If your pet has a history of aggressive behavior or if your pet has no history of aggressive behavior but starts to show new signs of aggression, You Lucky Doggy has the right to refuse service. The owner will be responsible for the pet sitter's medical care expenses and damages that result from an animal bite.
We require all pets to be up to date on their rabies vaccine. Please provide us a photo copy through our app so we can keep our records up to date.
